Girls Night Out, SADS Foundation Fundraiser

On July 27th, 2009 Stephanie Mejias (age 19) unexpectedly died from Sudden Arrhythmia Death Syndrome. She was a person with a beautiful heart and big dreams. She attended TCNJ in hopes of being a special education teacher. Now, it has been her friends’ and familys’ goal to help prevent other people from experiences like this.

Sudden Arrhythmia Death Syndrome is a common and unknown problem among the population today. The SADS Foundation is an organization that builds awareness and does research on causes, treatments, and early detection of this disease.

Our goal is to raise money for the foundation to ensure that everything possible is being done to prevent and treat this disease. In order to do this we are running a “Girls’ Night Out Fundraiser”.

On July 9th, 2010 at 7:30pm at the Elk’s Lodge in Union, NJ; the fraternity of Nu Sigma Phi has volunteered to auction themselves off for dates in exchange for money to help the SADS Foundation. Tickets cost $10.00 and include the auction, food, and prizes. We thank you for your time and support.

To All Friends/Family of Nu Sigma Phi Members:

Just a reminder that all of the money raised for this event will go directly to the SADS Foundation and none of the money goes to our organization. This is a great cause to support, so come out and have fun with us for a night over the summer and support the Nu Sigma Phi Men and the SADS Foundation. If you need tickets contact a Phi brother, and we’ll find a way to get your ticket to you…this event is first come first served. Thanks again, and I’ll be seeing you there.
